We have provided these simple directions to get to the charter boat's location.If you have any issues with the directions you can call the captain, he'll be happy to assist you. When coming from Providence or points north, the driving distance is exactly the same as if you were going to Point Judith. If coming from Connecticut and points south, it is 20 minutes closer than going to Point Judith. There are a couple of lobster boats at Jim's Dock if you want to buy some lobsters off the dock. Jim's Dock is a marina but also has a restaurant with seafood and dining right on the water next to the Galilee channel. Come on down during the summer, it's always cooler down by the water and you can enjoy a great meal there. From providence and points north: Take 1-95 South to Rte.4(11.4mi). Go South on Rte.1(9.2mi). Follow Succotash Rd. to Jim's Dock/Restaurant. Boat is on the left dock. From Conn. and points West:
Take 1-95 East to Exit 92(Rte.2E). Go Southeast on Rte.to Rte.
78 (1.3mi). Take Rte. 78E to Rte.1 (5.4mi). Go East to Rte. 1 to
Succotash Rd. to Jim's Dock.  |
