The Rhode Island Charter Boat - 30' Trojan Sportfish boat for fishing charters.

The Trojan boat company was formed in 1949 by Jim McQueen and Harper Hull.  The got tired of their job at the Norman Owens boat Company and quit, bought the Cottrell-Spoore Boat works, and moved it to Pennsylvania Dutch country as the Trojan Yacht Company.  It got off to a slow start but after the end of the Korean War business boomed and by 1954 their new Lancaster factory was turning out 20 boats per week.  They had many wooden and fiberglass models.  By 1968 they were the largest producer of boats in the country.  Between 1972 and 1992 they produced 2,200 32 foot twin-engine fiberglass boats before being bought out by Carver Yachts in 1992.   They were at one time the second largest manufacturer of inboard boats in the world.

This Trojan boat is powered by twin 351 ford engines with Edelbrock manifolds and performance cams,  This vessel can cruise at up to 18kts and has the safety of 2 engines instead of one.  Plenty of room in the cockpit area for fishing.  Has a very stable and comfortable ride.  A large clean bathroom so Mom doesn't have to worry about the amenities.  It's a great Rhode Island family fishing boat.
